Who tends to order from New Zealand
Mostly people who’ve noticed that a low number puts others off before they even scroll: a hospitality spot that opened last month, a builder or sparky using Instagram as a portfolio, a market stallholder, a musician about to play their first gigs outside their hometown, or a creator who keeps getting compared with bigger accounts. In a small country, word of mouth still does most of the work, but a profile that looks lived-in makes the first click less awkward.
How it works with a New Zealand card
The price you see is the price charged, in US dollars. Your bank converts it to NZD; on a typical day US$13.99 comes to about NZ$24 before any overseas transaction fee your card adds. Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay all work. POLi, Afterpay, Laybuy and bank transfers don’t. If a debit card is declined, it’s usually because online or overseas purchases are switched off, which you can normally change in your banking app. More in paying in US dollars from NZ.
Picking a believable amount
A jump that dwarfs everything else on the profile looks odd. As a rule of thumb, keep a package within two or three times your current follower count unless you’re also posting more, and add a few hundred likes to your pinned or newest post so the numbers hang together. The ratio tool gives you a range.
What it won’t do
Bought followers won’t comment, shop or watch your Stories, and some can be removed when Instagram clears out accounts it considers inauthentic. We can’t promise they’re from New Zealand. The honest version of the risks is in the risks of buying followers.
